![]() ![]() PS FWIW, the Majesty looks like its even “better,” which is so hard to imagine, but that’s just it, I dont know for sure and I cant speak because I dont own/havent played one to compare, but i cant imagine anything getting better than the XI, and I cant afford it either.Īs affordable as they are for being the ultra highest of the high end, they are still very expensive, and its hard to imagine I could ever buy one (definitely not new!) In esssence, they ARE custom guitars, built to JP’s specs lol, i guess one could say ? Certainly for metal and jazz, I dont think I could think of a superior option.Only thing I would consider swapping is the bridge pickup, maybe throw in an M7!! , and I agree, I think it *MIGHT* be the finest electric guitar Ive ever seen/played. ![]() ![]() THE RESULT: I could not, for all the creativity, imagination and thought in me, customize/spec a better guitar than the EBMM JP XI-7. This was back when Jackson, ESP, and Ibanez were the BIG metal guns and their online/website custom shop order system was open to the public - they were literally making the best of the best tailored to your desires (most similarly the way Carvin does it these days, when trying to compare it to something these days.) - and with all that said, spec’ing, customizing, updating and refreshing, with all the elements I could possibly think of, Ive spec’ed out countless customs from every custom shop and luthier from the mid 90’s to the late 2000’s. Awesome vid, thank you.I think the JP series IS the most incredible “collective”.As the years go on, it isn’t stagnant, JP keeps evolving the guitar with EBMM.I mean it is truly amazing how great each one is. ![]()
